Session Description
Join us to hear more about how dreams from the past can dramatically change and evolve into something completely new.
In this presentation you will hear all about John's initial experiences in OpenSim while still working at Linden Lab, the
creation and management of "Pathlandia," initial explorations of the Hypergrid, and how it all fits in with what he remembers as Linden Lab's original vision of an expanding Metaverse of self-
hosted and interconnected virtual worlds.

Healthy Futures requires Freedoms
Example: Using the Singularity Viewer to export a prim-based object in OpenSim to an industry-standard mesh model in a web-
based Jibe world.
A limited-use license is not ownership.
Technology that allows you to save your content locally and then migrate it to other platforms is a GOOD THING.
Ownership is a critical freedom.
Build and gather around comforting campfires...
...then go explore the unknown night together.
Thank You
