Why-Shunde is a southern district with long histories; it has become a member of UNECO’s Creative Cities Network, in the category Gastronomy. What’s more, Gambiered Guangdong gauze is the national intangible cultural heritage.

-However, despite its wonderful and diverse culture, the youth here are not aware of how beautiful their culture is, instead, they focus more on the modern things. For example, fish lantern, there are only two persons in Shunde knowing how to make, even worse, seven-tenth of the teenagers know nothing about their traditional handicrafts, etc.

-Therefore, we align this project with SDGs 4.7 - with the modern ideas and the traditional ancient thoughts as well as the cross-culture communication, we hope that more ideas about cultural protection can spark, to make the culture heritage really happen.

HowINPUT

Cultural Camp: Explore Shunde traditional culture and have an up-close experience it. Know more and learn more Shunde traditional culture deeply by listening the ShiFu (The Master) telling his/her story, making the traditional handicraft and enjoy the delicious cuisine.

OUTPUTSummer Camp/School:Play with kids and, show your own country culture and show your experience of Shunde culture during your exploration in Shunde(Enable local kids to know about traditional culture at varied angles with the help of foreigners.)
