Akrapovič is the leading manufacturer of premium exhaust systems for motorcycles and performance cars. It is also a leader in carbon fibre parts and the innovative use of titanium. Akrapovič exhaust systems are known for their impact on performance, their lightness, durability and sound.

Founded by former motorcycle racer Igor Akrapovič twenty-four years ago in Slovenia, the company has grown to international prominence through its successful support of leading racing teams. To date over eighty world champions have achieved success with Akrapovič exhaust systems. The company operates out of state-of-the-art factories in Slovenia, employing 500 people and distributing its products in more than sixty countries.

We only use the best materials. For our custom range we use the best quality austenitic stainless steel, chrome plating, and silicone-based black powder painting.

We are pioneers in developing and using technology to bring real benefits to the rider. Technology and its applications are developed in-house. Hydroforming is one such process, where header tubes are molded by applying pressurized water. The material forms the ideal shape for optimum exhaust flow, with no loss in strength. We are recognized as pioneers in the plastic deformation of titanium alloys and also in precision welding.

All Akrapovič facilities are state-of-the-art, where quality control is maintained by designing and manufacturing all exhaust systems in-house. This enables the creation of exhaust tubes to our own demanding specifications for maximum performance and quality. In-house laboratories ensure that the most exacting standards are met for type approval and certification.

Catalytic ConverterAkrapovič is using a performance-oriented catalytic converter where you get all the sound and performance upgrades you’re used to with an Akrapovič exhaust system.The catalytic converter is a honeycomb metal structure that incorporates precious metals (palladium, rhodium, and platinum) into its surface. These metals convert the poisonous carbon monoxide and unburned hydrocarbons found in exhaust gases into nontoxic carbon dioxide and water vapor.
