113 Slig Tall, brawny reptilian humanoids related to kobolds with crafty and often sadistic natures. Snake Men A slig has many snake-like features including smooth, mottled skin and sharp fangs. It decorates itself with tribal tattoos and body paints in zig-zag patterns and wears chunky jewellery and trinkets rather than actual clothing. A slig is 6 to 6 1/2 feet tall and weighs 180 to 220 pounds. Its posture is often stooped and hunched over from spending long hours in cramped tunnels or caves; when it runs, it ducks and weaves with frequent short jumps. Slig Names Slig naming conventions follow those of kobolds, as well as lizardfolk. Rocky Homes Slig tribes live in rocky areas, such as canyons and hills. They occasionally make their lairs near kobold mines, bullying their lesser cousins into a share of the resources. Sligs also ally with ogre bands for mutual support, because they usually share a common human enemy in the area. Slig Traits: Your slig character has an array of abilities indicative of your outward appearance. Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2. Age. Sligs mature at a faster rate than humans, reaching adulthood a little after a decade and living for over a century. Alignment. Most sligs are lawful evil. Size. Sligs stand between 6 to 6 1/2 feet tall and weigh 180 to 220 pounds. Your size is Medium. Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet. Natural Armor. You have natural armor (AC 11). Crafty. You have proficiency in the Stealth skill. Darkvision. Thanks to your draconic blood, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray. Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Draconic. Subraces. Two main subraces of sligs populate Krynn: Common and ghaggler. Choose one of these subraces. Common Your kind is what everyone first thinks of when sligs are mentioned. Acid Spit. Ranged Weapon Attack: range 10 /20 ft., one target. Hit: 1d6 acid damage. The target must make a Dexterity save or be blinded until the end of your next turn. The DC for this Dexterity saving throw equals 8 + your Strength modifier + your proficiency bonus. You must wait until after a long rest before using this ability once more. Ghaggler You are a marine offshoot of the common slig and lair in the deep waters off of Ansalon. Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 1. Speed. Your base walking speed is 20 feet. Your base swim speed is 40 feet.
