Video Camera

• I used my video camera to film the various scenes for my trailer. By doing this along with a tripod, I could steadily record my scenes and easily apply them onto a computer.

Memory stick

• By using a memory stick, I could work in different places and on various computers, allowing me to be mobile with my work.

Photoshop

• Photoshop CS3 is an image manipulation programme which allowed me to change picture size, colour and other things.

• Photoshop also helped a lot to create my ancillary tasks, the poster and the magazine. Being able to manipulate them, I can create layers to apply various pictures to create one.

Blogger

• Blogger is an online site to create a blog, which we used to upload our work.

• Blogger was very efficient for us as it enabled us to upload our work in different places and times, so we could finish work at home not only at school. With blogger we could include links from other sites like facebook and Slideshare.

Slideshare

• Slideshare along with Microsoft Office Powerpoint, has enabled me to, once made a powerpoint, upload it onto slideshare, a more effective and formal way to apply to blogger, than a simple powerpoint would.

Blackberry

• I used my Blackberry mobile phone to take pictures of some of the digital technologies I used. The phone being small, light in weight with an efficient camera megapixels enabled me to get into difficult places to take pictures and allowed me to take pictures from various heights easily for camera angles.

Netbook

• Using a Netbook allowed me to carry my work around with me.

• Being in school, if I had forgotten my memory stick, the netbook allows me to have easy access of work that I have done at home as well as the work I have done in school.

Computer

• I used the school computers along with their printers to manipulate my work. They were helpful for research and also to upload my work onto blogger.

Google

• Google was the most efficient way for me to research on audience, genre and industry of the media industry. It allowed me quick access to news and different theories on horror trailers than books from a library would.

Tripod

• A tripod was used to steady my camera so the scenes and pictures I took were not blurry, disfigured and had more conventions of real trailers.
