How effective is the combination of your main and

ancillary texts?

Q2I think the link between my three main ancillary texts is very clear. I have used the same actors throughout and tried to use the same atmosphere for the same storyline for each media product. On my ancillary front cover, I have used the main character to attract the audience and have posed him in a particular way which suggests confidents and sex appeal, linking well with the storyline of him being a player. Throughout my trailer it is shown that the main character is a player by featuring the dialogue; ‘he’s your best mate and you slept with his girl’ implying he gets all the girls. Also on my Billboard, I have used a similar pose for the same main character, I have made all the other characters featured on the trailer posing so they are looking at him with attitude, giving off the impression that he is in trouble, therefore linking in with the storyline.
