Weaknesses
Opportunities
Threats
-Low utility of available land -Some people easily discouraged when met with challenges-The power that lies in the registered groups is not being utilized-CHWs getting involved in too many activities with other NGOs-Low levels of commitment with some members -Low capacity for agribusiness
-Presence of TICH ready to give capacity building- Can learn from partnerships that have already grown e.g. nearby Gem /Gem Rae-Groups can be a channel for trainings -Irrigation possible for farms at the river-Out of school youth can provide labor-Financial resources will soon be available from the TICH SACCO-Existence of community college-Data from CBIS will be an eye opener for areas of weakness that need to change-Possibility of new partner organizations joining the partnership
-Drought-Floods-Crop destruction by cows who are left to graze freely-Burden of disease
