Who would the audience be for your media product?Who would the audience be for your media product?The main target audience of my magazine will be teens to early 20’s, for example 14 to 23 year olds. This is because the genre of my magazine is specific and wouldn’t suit younger people as it is more aggressive and meaningful than chart music. My magazine is mainly for more mature audiences as I feel the genre does not just suit anyone and will suit people who don’t just follow the crowd and decide to be different as this genre is different from the regular pop or chart music.

My magazine is based around the R'n'b genre so should attract the same audiences as Vibe magazine. My magazine also has the same genre and audience has XXL or The source so should be similar in comparison.

The main purpose of my magazine is to stand out and get away from the typical boring pop genre that so many people follow, this genre gets away and is aimed at more daring out of the ordinary people.
