FAITH PROMISE UPDATE

As the spring semester ended at Temple University, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship began an outreach program called Finding Hope in the City. Student and Staff members were involved in various programs in Philadelphia as VBS, Youth programs and neighborhood interactions. Ryan Moyer wrote, “God has totally been at work this summer. The teamwork was fabulous and there were several tough decisions that had to be made in which God was totally present in and a part of.”

Students and community people whom IVCF meets are surely blessed by the witness and caring of their Fellowship. Do you know their vision? It’s, Students and Faculty Transformed, Campuses Renewed, & World Changers Developed. Let’s keep IVCF in our prayers as they begin a new year at Temple and thank God for Ryan’s faithful leadership.

Here’s a Financial Update. The total Faith Promise Budget for 2014 is $26,600. At the end of June, all Partners had received half of their support.

As we join other groups and organizations to support our Partners, we are surely blessed that we can share in the ministries of UMCOR (United Methodist Comm. on Relief), Family Promise, Urban Promise, Salvation Army, Ex-Offender Program, Pocono Plateau, Spanish Health Ministry, Russian Initiative and Adult Members in Mission from ESUMC.

You may support these Partners with your prayers and your gifts in the envelope today or anytime noting your gift is for FAITH PROMISE or Missions. Praise God for all our blessings and the ability to share with others.
