CHANDIGARH BRANCH CLINICA three member team from Men-Tsee-Khang with the proposal of establishing a branch clinic in Chandigarh visited Mr. Manoj Parida, IAS, and advisor Chandigarh.
Men-Tsee-Khang is very grateful to Mr. Manoj Parida who gladly welcomed the team and considered the proposal. On the very next day, under the guidance of Dr. V.S. Nagpal, Chief Medical Superintendent, GMS hospital, the visiting members were given a tour of 3 to 4 locations
across the sectors of the city. The team selected a place in Sector 38 and the Director approved.

NEW BRANCH CLINIC AT TAWANGArunachal Pradesh state government has sanctioned a land dimension of 225 metre to Men-Tsee-Khang to establish a new clinic on lease for 99 years. Further procedures will be carried under the Public Work Department of the district who as per the requirements of a new clinic will setup the structural foundation.

MEN-TSEE-KHANG’S INITIATIVE FOR COVID-19 PATIENTS
Amidst the global pandemic, Men-Tsee-Khang opened temporary sub-centers in Delhi and Dharamsala. There, the four members (2 senior doctors, 1 dispenser and 1 driver) from the Men-Tsee-Khang External Emergency Team (MEET) since May 2020 gave free Sowa-Rigpa treatment to the patients who were tested positive. Our initiative was encouraged by the generous donations
TANADUK ONLINE LANGUAGE CLASSSince December 2020, Men-Tsee-Khang has arranged multiple online classes to interested students from Rus-sia requested by ‘Tanaduk’ which is an autonomous non-profit organization for development of Tibetan Medicine based in Russia. The classes were mainly on various ailments, organs, clinical cases and basic levels of Astro-science given by our doctors and Astro-science practitioners. The medium of instruction were in English or Tibetan translated into Russian by Tanaduk’s member.

CHARITABLE HEALTH CARE SERVICES FOR POOR AND NEEDY PATIENTS
On an average, Men-Tsee-Khang spends US$ 48,115.43 per month to provide free and subsidized health care services to senior citizens, poor & needy patients, monks, nuns, students and new arrivals from Tibet. The funds are mostly donated by Men-Tsee-Khang’s friends, well-wishers and supporters. Donations from the grateful patients have greatly encouraged the institute’s philanthropic work.

2ND BATCH OF INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS FORKACHUPA COURSE
Men-Tsee-Khang is pleased to announce the 2nd batch of Kachupa degree course for the international students for the acedemic year 2022.
After experiencing positive response from the lecturers and the current students, Men-Tsee-Khang has started Kachupa Degree for the International Students to share the valuable knowledge of Tibetan medicine and Astro-Science so that they can serve their communities after obtaining Kachupa Degree.
Unlike the first batch, every applicant will have to apply under one category as we have experienced that all the applicants were from different walks of life. Irrespective of gender, the selection will be based on test and interviews conducted by dCollege (Dharamsala College).
The medium of instruction would be in Tibetan therefore having a basic knowledge of Tibetan language is the top criterion for the course. To ensure better understanding of the lectures, there will be a tibetan Language course of six months prior to the medicinal course, followed by Kachupa Degree course of 5+1 year (1 yr internship) in Tibetan medicine (Sowa-Rigpa), Tibetan Astro-Science and Buddhist Philosophy.

HEALTHY BODY HEALTHY MIND: CELEBRATING 105th YEAR OF MEN-TSEE-KHANG’S PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES
&THE YEAR OF “THANK YOU H.H THE XIV DALAI LAMA”
Men-Tsee-Khang has been conducting medical camps for past consecutive years to benefit the people and to spread awareness on Tibetan Medicine.
Men-Tsee-Khang will organize medical camps themed “ Healthy Body Healthy Mind: Celebrating 105 year of Men-Tsee-Khang’s Public Health Service and the year of “Thank You H.H the XIV Dalai Lama” in various cities in India. We will also celebrate the year to express sincere gratitude for the many benefactions of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
The medical camp will consist of health consultations, oral-astro consultations, lectures/workshops/exhibition on Tibetan Medicine & Tibetan Astro-Science held in 14 cities namely Shimla, Bengaluru, Mysore, Tawang, Gangtok, Jaigaon, Kolkata, Manipur, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, New Delhi, Chennai, Pondicherry or Coimbatore, Ladakh, Secunderabad, Bhubaneshwar and Dickyling or Clementown (Dehradun).
Our outreach tours to USA East Coast/Canada, Europe, USA West Coast, Australia, South America, Taiwan, Singapore and South Africa conducted between April 2016 and December 2019 have been a great success due to the efforts of various support groups. Above all, the encouragement we received and the experiences we gained, contributed to our initiating more world tours. Our subsequent tours to various places have also been a great success.
