At one time, pre-fabricated—or ready to move homes—were often built as a convenience, if not a necessity. But that’s no longer the case in today’s modern world. For more than a decade, prefab has enjoyed something of a renaissance the world over and these highly efficient and functional homes have definitely moved into the mainstream. Clearly then, Riverbend Building Supply has been well ahead of the curve for years—the business has been building and selling offsite constructed homes and pre-fabricated framing packages since 2006.

Riverbend Building Supply is part of the Riverbend Colony, located southeast of Carberry, Manitoba and just a bit north of the picturesque Assiniboine River.

THE PROCESS
Riverbend’s offsite constructed homes and prefab framing packages can be built specifically to every individual customer’s specifications. So you can feel free to choose from our own floor plans—or bring in one of your own! Even if you’re just in the preliminary stages of planning and collecting ideas, make sure to pay us a visit at Riverbend! We’ll be happy to explore all of the options and find a way to turn your dream into a reality. Our floor-planning experts will discuss your ideas with you directly and modify the whole house design to your specifications. And once we have the plans completed to your satisfaction, we can start building your home!

WHO WE ARE
Riverbend Building Supply is a part of the Riverbend colony, which was originally established in 1969 near Carberry, Manitoba. In 2006, colony entrepreneurs decided to expand their skill set from farming alone to building—partly because designing and erecting farm structures was already a large part of the operation.
HOW WE’RE DIFFERENT
At Riverbend Building Supply, we brand our homes specifically as OCHs (offsite constructed homes). Over the years, many RTMs (or ready-to-move homes) have developed a bad reputation with some owners—the result of some builders taking short-cuts in the building process. In addition, because many RTMs have been damaged during the moving process, many potential buyers have shied away from them completely.
At Riverbend, we’ve taken a different approach. Our OCHs are built to higher standards than most site-constructed homes. Because our homes need to be built and designed to tolerate the moving process, we go the extra mile to ensure
the homes are structurally sound and built firmly.
We also believe very strongly in customer satisfaction—at Riverbend, you are not just a number. We value each of our clients individually and our managers are involved with you from the first phone call all the way to the finishing touches on your home. If any issues arise during the process, you’ll deal directly with the company owners and managers to ensure they get resolved immediately.
Riverbend also realizes that for some clients it’s hard to visualize the perfect home or space. So if you feel the need to make some design changes during the construction process, we’ll work together to ensure you get what you want—all within your budget. Ultimately, we’re not happy until you’re happy!
