Adult Fit Swim Makes a SplashAdult Fit Swim Makes a Splash

Adult Fit Swim Makes a SplashThank you to everyone who supported the Adult Fit Swim classes that were held on Mondays and Wednesdays during this term.

It certainly was a successful program with anywhere between 19 and 24 participants each night.

The classes catered to all levels of experience and fitness and everyone enjoyed the social and health benefits.

It was open to Toowoomba Grammar School staff, current parents and parents of enrolled future students.

Due to the success of Adult Fit Swim the classes will return next term. We will confirm the dates and times on our Facebook page when the new term gets closer.

5 Health Benefits of Swimming1. Total body workout.

2. It keeps your heart rate up, builds endurance, muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness whilst burning calories.

3. Swimming tones muscles and builds strength with little impact on the body.

4. Great for your general wellbeing and positive attitude. Like any aerobic exercise when it triggers the release of endorphins in the brain it gives the body the feeling of contentment and euphoria.

5. Swimming is good for all ages. It’s a lifetime exercise.

Car Park ChangesNo vehicle access to Aquatic Centre car park via Herries St this week, December 3-7.

Car park entry is available via the Senior School - Herries St, drive in past the Health Centre and down through the boom gates.

We apologise for the inconvenience.
