since the beginning of the year, Blackwell’s has welcomed a number of key new personnel who bring a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to add to our company’s expertise in the library services sector and further consolidate our on-going service developments.

Wilf Mulliner joined our senior Management team earlier in the year as supply Chain Manager. Responsible for our warehouse processes from receipt of books, to cataloguing and physical processing, through to invoicing, packing, despatch and delivery. Wilf has a broad industry background and the

changes he has implemented since his arrival have already resulted in improvements to service levels and supply times.

Neil MacKinnon started with us in June as our technical services Librarian. neil’s principal professional interest is cataloguing and his career spans technical services in academic and public libraries with senior posts with library system suppliers, sirsiDynix and ex Libris. Working with special

and academic libraries in europe and the uK in library system support, project planning, system implementation, training and software development, he is well placed to understand the challenges libraries currently face.

Isabelle Staunton started in mid July as our Continuations Manager and brings with her many years’ experience as head of Approval Plan and new title services with erasmus, Paris. her considerable knowledge of the library services industry across approvals, standing order and journal supply, together with

a strong customer services and key account management focus further strengthens our management team.

Henry Gott continues in his role as uK Account Manager and has also taken on the role of eBook specialist for us. henry has a strong academic and industry background with a PhD in english and Comparative Literary studies from Warwick university and ten years’ bookselling experience. henry is looking

forward to working with our library customers on their eBook acquisition processes and requirements.
