Mass Intentions for Oct.13-20,2019

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION GOSPEL REFLECTION Today in Luke’s Gospel, Jesus meets and cures ten lepers; however, only one returns to thank and praise the Lord. This story helps us to understand that miracles do not automatically give us faith. Like the grateful leper, let us open our eyes to God’s wonders and believe in the miracle of God’s love.

Mixed Choir Practice (children & adults) – Choir practice is held every Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. in the church. No audition is necessary; however, you must have Safe Compliance clearance from the office before you can participate.

Traveling Blessed Mother – During the month of October, all of the RE students and their families are expected to pray the rosary. A statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe (accompanied by a pamphlet on How to Pray the Rosary and a rosary), started her journey on October 1 in San Jose and will continue to travel to the homes of our RE students until October 31. Please help us to pray for our RE students and their families, our parish, and for world peace, as Our Lady of Guadalupe visits their homes as a gentle reminder to pray their family rosary.

Thank You – Our sincere thanks to everyone who participated and brought a casserole or dessert to share for Family Day last Sunday. If you did not attend, you missed out on some yummy casseroles. Mark you calendar….the next Family Day will be on Sunday, November 3.

Donations Needed – Donations of individually wrapped candy or treats are needed for the RE Halloween Trunk ‘N Treat Activity. Please bring your donations to the office by October 25.
