2015 ENERGY STAR® Certi ed Homes Stakeholder Meeting Agenda
October 2015
Dear ENERGY STAR Partners and Stakeholders,
Welcome to the 2015 ENERGY STAR Certi ed Homes Program Stakeholder Meeting. This year, we’ve co-located our meeting with the ENERGY STAR Products Partner Meeting and expanded attendance to include both homebuilders and Home Energy Raters, in addition to the program sponsors and implementers who have participated in past year’s events.
We hope that this year’s meeting provides a valuable opportunity to learn about important program updates, exchange ideas, hear about how others are having success with the program, and network among an exciting and innovative group of individuals and organizations committed to ENERGY STAR.
It was 20 years ago that ENERGY STAR began labeling entire homes built to provide superior energy ef ciency. Since then, millions of Americans have made the choice to live in an ENERGY STAR certi ed home. More than 1.6 million homes now bear the ENERGY STAR label, saving homeowners more than $4.7 billion on their energy bills, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions by more than 24 million metric tons. These are impressive accomplishments that we share with you, our valued partners.
Thank you for the important work that you do in providing homebuyers with homes that save energy, save money, and help to protect the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Sincerely,
Jonathan PasseChief, ENERGY STAR Residential BranchUnited States Environmental Protection Agency
