She really enjoyed a barbecue party the middle of December and celebrated the coming holidays. That day, she ate a lot of delicious foods and said she has a big appetite. She was enjoying her food and talking to her friends. She really had a good time that day. In addition to the barbecue party, we also organized a show and she performed a dance with her friends. In order to prepare for the show, she spent a month learning and practicing. Their performance received much love that day and she was successful in gaining a prize. In addition, she also received a special holiday card. She had three holidays to celebrate the New Year. She returned home and spent time with her family because she hadn’t been home for months. She was very happy to go home and celebrate. She hopes everything will go well during the New Year. The winter here is very cold and she got a cough a little while ago. Although she is well now, we still advised her to exercise more and take care of herself. Thank you for praying for them and for your generosity toward their needs. The happiest heart that ever beat was in some quiet breast that found the common daylight sweet, and left to heaven the rest. Cheyney The Ladies Tea event last Saturday was a wonderful time had by all! Thank You So Much to all the ladies who organized and worked so hard to make it beautiful and the food was simply delicious! This fellowship together filled our hearts with joy and smiles/laughter filled the day. Remember Grandma? Grandma used to get up on Sunday morning, cook a big breakfast for her large family, milk three or four cows, churn, clean house, kill and dress the chickens for dinner, dress the children, then, go with the family in a buggy or wagon five miles to the worship and get there early. Today, breakfast comes in a cereal box, the milk man brings the milk and butter, the grocery boy brings the chicken (prepared for cooking), and the distance to the church building is measured in blocks, not miles, covered in a modern automobile. White Bluff Church of Christ is sponsoring

this lovely little girl in China this year: Name: Liang Mei Xiu

Birth Date: March 3, 2003

She has been leading a very happy life and so appreciates our

sponsorship on her behalf! She really enjoyed a barbecue party the

Recovering and in Hospital:

Jack Corkan, Peggy Heath’s father, will be visiting with an

oncologist soon regarding treatment plan for a brain tumor.

Joseph Wills of McEwen, Donny Wills’ nephew, was

involved in an accident last Saturday and suffered critical

injuries. He is making progress and will hopefully go home

this week. Recovery time is approximately 3 months and he

is expected to make a full recovery.
