Tri-Pod

• This will be useful to us as it will help to minimize shaky footage and blurry pictures.

• It allows us to take steady, professional-looking footage/pictures to be shot.

Mini DV Camcorder• The mini DV camcorder is used in

conjunction with the tripod.• We will use the camcorder to record

the video on, and then upload the footage onto a computer enabling us to add effects and edit the video.

Digital SLR Camera• The digital SLR will help us take

pictures for our album cover and magazine advert and is also used in conjunction with the tripod.

• The images taken will then be uploaded onto a computer enabling us to manipulate and add effects to it.

Software - Premier Pro

• This software will be needed so we are able to edit the video according to our specifications.

• However getting used to this software may be time consuming and may be hard to use

Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD/ Adobe After Effects

• Software to help us create desired/planned effects for our video like selective colour use and title/credits

• To add additional effects that may not be available in Premier Pro

Green Screen• This will allow us to add effects to our

music video. Actors/actresses would stand in front of a wall or sheet of a certain colour and footage would be shot. Using a computer the colour of the sheet/wall is removed, where it is replaced with whatever the editor desires.

Adobe Photoshop• Software that is used to edit and

manipulate images and gives us the ability to add special effects to images

• It would help us to create the album cover and magazine advert
