Salient Features of SDB-11, Pune
Sustainability in design: Longer facades of the buildings oriented North-South and
limiting the overall Window-Wall ratio within 30%
Utility areas covering East and West facades. Insulated walls and roof.
High performance double glazed windows and adopting external shading has limited
the heat ingress.
Windows split into daylight and vision panels to bring in natural light and reduce glare
Innovative radiant cooling system provides high comfort and low energy operation
Building operates with series counter flow chiller arrangement which significantly
improves the efficiency of the chillers at full load and part load condition
Part of largest experiment on cooling systems comparison – along with SDB-10. (Refer

SDB-11: Low Energy Design
Projected balconies on South façade serve as effective shading
SDB-11: Integrated RE
Dedicated OutdoorAir System and
Solar PV Plant on the terrace
SDB-11: Largest comparison of cooling systems
SDB-10 (Chilled Beams)SDB-11 (Radiant Cooling)
Salient Features of SDB-11, Pune
Low energy lighting: 0.5 W/sq.ft in design and less than 0.2 W/sq.ft in operations
Occupancy sensors for cabins, meeting rooms and toilets
Server room with chilled water unit during main chiller operation and DX unit during
non-office hours gives 40% savings in comparison with 100% DX based system.
100% of waste water is recycled and reused in the campus for flushing, irrigation and
cooling tower makeup purposes
Continuous monitoring of all the electrical and HVAC equipment efficiencies through
Central command center ensures efficient operation on a continuous basis.
Infosys SDB-11, Pune is an IGBC LEED Platinum Certified building
