introduction

Plastic have become an indispensable part in today's world due to their light weight , durability ,efficiency , coupled with a faster rate of production and design flexibility , these plastic are employed in entire of industrial employed entire range of industrial and domestic areas .

Plastic are non degradable polymers of mostly containing carbon , hydrogen , and other elements such as chlorine nitrogen etc…

Due to its non biodegradable nature , the plastic waste contribute significantly to the problem of municipal waste management

Scope…

This is like cashing on the pollution itself. This project if implement can turn the tides globally by providing a long term solution for these problem..

The main solution aim is to find a solution to the mounting problem of plastic disposal for which the plastic are converted into valuable fuel….

What is Plastic…

Plastic are natural / synthetic material.

They are produced by chemically modifying natural substances or are synthesized form inorganic raw material . On the basis of their physical characteristic plastics are usually divided into thermoset , elastomeric and thermoplastic….

Types of plastic

Theromoset… Elastomer… .. Thermoplastic….

What about the value…

The main thing which makes plastic waste valuable is longer carbon chains than those in LPG, petrol and diesel fuel, therefore it is possible to convert waste plastic into fuels……

Waste several scientific method

Incineration.. =Burning process..

Pyrolysis…. =Thermal processing in the absences of air or oxygen..

Gasification.. =Thermal processing with a limited amount of air or oxygen..

Incineration…

Pyrolysis… Pyro = heat.  Lysis = break down. Pyrolysis is chemical reaction. This reaction

involves molecular breakdown of larger molecules into smaller molecules in presence of heat. Pyrolysis is also known as thermal cracking, cracking, thermolysis, depolymerization, etc.

Plastic and tire pyrolysis involves subjecting plastic and tire to high temperature of 400 to 450 degree Celsius, in absence of oxygen. In case of oxygen is present plastic will start burning. During pyrolysis plastic and tire breaks down into smaller molecules of pyrolysis oil, pyrolysis gas and carbon black. Like plastic and tire, pyrolysis end products are also hydrocarbons.

Process to make end life plastic to fuel

The entire process is undertaken in closed reactor vessel followed by condensation ,if required.

Waste plastics while heating upto 400 to 700 into liquid vapors state, which is collected in condensation chamber in the from of liquid fuel…

The tarry liquid waste is topped down from the heating reactor vessel…

The organic gas is generated which can be used in duel fuel diesel generator set for generation of electricity….

Plastic and environment…

Plastic offers variety of environmental benefits .

However , their production application and disposal has many environment concerns

Page 15: end of life plastic to fuel

Advantages…

Reduce the accumulation of waste plastic as environmental pollution…

to helps keep clean our cities…To help environmental effects..To reduce global warming…To reduces energy conception…

Page 16: end of life plastic to fuel

Disadvantages..

Not always cost effective.. Recycled plastics may not lost for

long..

Page 17: end of life plastic to fuel

Conclusion…

My presentation aim to solve the twin problem of environment pollution due to plastic and the need of alternative fuel sources

The production of the fuel from waste plastic is one of the better method to save the environment profitability.
