A SPECIAL VISITOR IN RECEPTION

As part of a Children’s Mental Health Week, the children in Reception class were surprised by a special visitor, Benjamin Shaw’s dog

Boba. He was incredibly sweet and affectionate and loved nothing more than a cuddle! Boba enjoyed getting lots of attention from

the children and Benjamin told us how his dog made him feel better every time he was unwell or felt upset. “My dog is special be-

cause he protects me,” said Benjamin. We all enjoyed talking about things that made us feel good and safe. The children loved shar-

ing their ‘Show and Tell’ items and discussing what was good for our bodies and minds.

6D CLASS ASSEMBLY

Well done to 6D for their wonderful class as-sembly on World War II, which they have been learning about this half-term. Thank you to Mrs Dilley, Mrs Harrington and Ms Siraj for all their hard work in putting the assembly to-gether The 6D cake sale raised an impressive £241.20 and this money will go towards a class trip.

A reminder that all Year 6 pupils will visit the Jewish Museum in Camden on Friday 15th February 2019.

CAMDEN PRIMARY CHOIR

If your child is in the KS2 choir, they will have the opportunity to sing at the Camden Primary Choir Festival on Monday 25th March 2019 at 6.30pm. This is a wonderful event that parents and carers can also attend. More de-tails will follow after half-term, including how tickets can be purchased.

QUIZ NIGHT Quiz Night (an adult-only event) will be held on Thursday 28th March. Hunters are generously sponsoring the evening. You may bring a team or join one on arrival. (Teams are limited to no more than 10 players, including latecomers.) Doors will open at 6:45pm and food will be available for purchase.

CLASS FUNDRAISING This year, in lieu of the Farmer's Market, classes will be able to fund-raise on the frontage of Trattoria on West End Lane (formerly known as Locanda 311) on a variety of mutually agreed Saturday mornings starting from the second half of the spring term through to the sum-mer term. We will need two volunteers from each class to come for-ward to lead their fundraisers. To make it fair to every class and pu-pil, without participation from all classes, the entire project will not proceed. We thank Francesca and Franco for generously allowing us to use their valuable space!
