Pesticide CalibrationAL0416CA12
February 1, 2012 9:00 am - 1:00 pm$195 before 01/18/2012; $225 after
Sometimes you just have to do the math! And this class will help make your
math more painless and error-free. Measuring, mixing and calibrating requires a
series of mathematical gymnastics that include conversions like: acres into square
footage (application area), pounds or ounces of material (chemical amount) to
amount of active ingredient (percentage active ingredient), ounces per second
into gallons per minute (ow rates), and feet per second into MPH (speed of applicator). That’s a lot of margin for error, and one mistake can turn a lush lawn
into a barren eyesore, or just a whole lot of wasted material and money.
