Coming first is a bit of a habit: ourlatest success came at a BMW ClubDay at Tarlton Raceway on June 5,where the combination of our330kW Golf7 R and The Stigletonce again proved to be a winner. We comfortably headed our classin the traditional gymkhana/dragrace mix, but importantly, werealso sixth overall for the day. Theonly cars that beat our best timeof 61.44 seconds included a braceof Nissan GTRs, a LamborghiniAventador, a Lotus Exige and atrick Subaru WRX STI.

Want a hatchback that packs ahuge punch, but is still a brilliantdaily drive? Look no further thanour Third Stage Golf7 R. With275kW and 514Nm (up from 206and 380 respectively), it issomething of a wolf in sheep’sclothing. Based closely on ourSimola-winning semi-race 7R, aless radical approach makes itmore tractable for pure road use.Our video unpacks what makesthis car what is going to be one ofour most popular conversions:https://vimeo.com/171543239

Much as we love the Sheer DrivingPleasure of BMW, there’s no denyingMercedes-Benz has unleashed somepretty butch machinery over theyears.

We have a particularly soft spot forthe big, normally-aspirated V8s - andthey’re all perfect candidates forsupercharging! For example, our no-holds-barredVortech-based upgrade to the previousC63 unleashes some pretty impressivenumbers: 572kW/880Nm to be exact!

However, the current version ispowered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo powerplant and we’re able to offer a verycost-effective Plug-in Power Software(PPS) First Stage solution for that engine too. Talk to our sales team about it.

Hi Steven & Rob (writes Brett Larsen), I would like to comment on my recent

experience with RGM and the outcome ofthe Second Stage conversion on my 300C.

Firstly, the response to my email querieswere very prompt and informative when Istarted investigating a conversion. I didrealize afterwards if I had read the websiteappropriately I would have had fewerquestions. Good on you.

My first experience at your premises wasmeeting Jono - a delightful young manever willing to show me through yourfacility. What really impressed me was thatall staff members that I walked passedgreeted and were friendly. I am also in asales-orientated business and this is alwaysimportant for me to know that my staffare just as friendly when receiving anddealing with customers.

Your reception and shop was in greatcondition, but what really struck me was

the Dyno room and how that stood out.The whole experience really createdconfidence in your expertise when havingto leave my SRT with your team for aweek.

So now on to the actual conversion: Iam very impressed by the gains achieved(so much so that I’ve started a tyre fund!)and although apprehensive as to how loudthe exhaust would be, I am pleased - it isnot too obtrusive, but just right. Whenletting all the horses go, it really growls atthe appropriate level! Wherever I go, thecar turns heads.

The quality of workmanship is verypleasing and the exhaust system looks likea work of art. The performance is greatand leaves me to wonder what asupercharger would do. Thank you for thegreat service and I would certainlyrecommend your business to anyone wholoves performance!

The 2-series has tremendousappeal for those after a compactand nimble performer and takingit up a Stage makes it evenpunchier. Our partnership withNovatune has been particularlybeneficial when it comes to BMWand the latest M235i is a case inpoint: the combination of theirGerman-engineered electroniccontrol unit and our Techniflowexhaust (a combination of a101mm downpipe and a 76mmtailpipe) adds 60kW and 151Nm.

After three years, BMW 2002Youth Project is a runner andwe're proud to be associated withthis meticulous retro-moderncustom build. While we don'tusually work on anything olderthan the 2002 model year, wemade an exception here...

Gran Turismo Injection is what GTI(apparently) stands for and we’ll giveyour GTI the X-factor (what we like to call Green Tuning Inspiration) withan Untamed upgrade.

Every VW Golf GTI deserves to beuntamed and when you see thenumbers, you'll have to agree theoutcome is pretty impressive.. Ourpackage addresses three things: intake, exhaust and engine management. Thefirst part of the equation gets sortedwith our Simola-proven Goliath carbon

fibre cold air induction system, whilewhat happens on the other side of thecylinder head is improved by an 85mmdownpipe, which runs from the turboback to a reducer where the systemsbecomes 63mm in diameter. Then weadd in a plug-and-play enginemanagement piggyback and you have acar capable of demolishing the quartermile in just under 14 seconds!

Power goes from 162kW to 195kW…and the proof of the pudding is in theeating - and just so you know, ourGerotek testing was conducted on roadtyres, at normal pressure. This Untamedoffer runs until the end of July, at a price of R17 900.
