(II) - ACTIVITIES :-

(1) According (QA/QC) SR. Welding engineer :-experience in- new constructions piping system fabrication , installation, maintenance

and demolishing of on shore and off shore oil and gas plants

Welding Inspection:-

- Preparation Inspection test plan of (ITP), Welding maps,.

- Material Receiving Report (MRR) according to Material Certificate &Owner

specification.

- Cover (NDT) Visual, Radiographic, Dye Pent rant, Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic & PMI

(Positive Material Identification).

-Responsible for all the duties of the welding inspector before, during and after welding,

including:

-Welder Qualification with Conformance the applicable codes and standards

- Preparation and monitoring Welding Procedure Specification (WPS, PQR) preparation

and qualification WQT (welder qualification test.)

-As per Drawing & Specs related to Client and Applicable International codes.

-Supervise the preparation of destructive test samples, reviewing the calibration

certificates of the machines before testing and compare the results against the

specification requirements and applicable code.

-Pre-weld inspection & Verification that dimensions Fit-up and weld preparations are in

accordance with the engineering drawings

-Welding consumables identity Verification of corrections of welding consumables

(electrodes, filler wires, consumable inserts, gases, fluxes etc)

-Preheating Verification that preheat (where required) is in accordance with specified

procedures

-Post weld visual inspection and dimensional check of completed welds against

specification requirements and drawings

-Post weld heat treatment Verification that post weld heat treatment has been

conducted in accordance with specification requirements ( PWHT and Hardness Leak

(Pressure Vacuum, & Pneumatic) Test.
