Preferences and Permissions

• Staff Preferences / User Administration• Login and then choose

– Staff Menu– User Admin– Edit User Accounts to edit preferences for that user – Add A User to create a new user account and set up

preferences

• Patron Preferences are set up in a similar manner

• There are many fields in the ILL participant record

• The ELN recommends that the following information be entered and kept up-to-date– Address information– Holiday List– Pickup Locations– ISO 10160/10161 - CISTI Account– Library Homepage and Catalogue URLs

• Other fields can be left blank

Modifying the AGent/ISO Lender Strings

• With a federated search, you are able to view results from various databases

• If needed you are able to modify or combine the lender strings for that particular request

• UBC and SFU are ISO ILL lending libraries• At present UVic is not yet set-up at an ISO
