Electrician Lynchburg VA After 17 years of working for others in the electrical trade, I was given the opportunity to begin my own company when the employer I worked for decided it was time to retire. He asked if I would be interested in becoming my own boss and taking over his current customers. I had been the contact person for his current customers, so there was already a strong customer base. This was an easy decision to make, so in July of 1994, my wife and I began Maupin Electric Company, Inc. Now 18 years later, we still have a strong customer base, including customers that have been with us from the very beginning. Our customers have come to know and understand we care about quality, their safety, and not just their current needs, but their future needs.
