Hole-in-the-Wall Education Limited (HiWEL) is a

subsidiary of NIIT Limited. Hole-in-the-Wall is a path breaking

learning methodology conceived by Dr. Sugata Mitra, Chief

Scientist at NIIT. It is a ‘Shared Blackboard’ which children in

underprivileged communities can collectively own and access, to

express themselves, to learn, to explore together, and at some

disadvantaged young people, street children and extremely poor

youth. WEMA is using a modified and refurbished Bus equipped

with computers as a Mobile Computer School named as

“DreamCatcher” that street children and youth are accessing.

(ECCO) at Aldort town in Nairobi Kenya, aims to provide street

children with a platform that enables them to share ideas with each
