Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Rajasthan - Assam Under the EBSB scheme proposed by MHRD, Govt. of India, a cultural gathering was organised involving the paired states of Rajasthan-Assam on 30 January 2019. Students from Rajasthan and Assam showcased the various cultural art forms, history, life styles etc. of Assam and Rajasthan respectively. The program was covered by All India Radio. The schedule for the entire program was as follows: Anchor: Ishan Gadgil 1) Presentation describing various cultural art forms, tourists attraction of Rajasthan by Himanshu Jain. 2) Presentation on Assam by Muskaan Maheshwari. 3) Bihu folk dance of Assam performed by Edla Lekhana, Himani Jain, Divyansh Dubey, Abhishek Bagri, Gopal Karwa and Deepak Kumar. 4) Ghoomar folk dance of Rajasthan performed by Teena Roy, Drisya P and Niranjana S. 5) A drama depicting the historic story of Prithviraj Chauhan and Muhammad Ghori was enacted by Dharma Ram Meghwal, Shyam Sundar Goyal, Utsav Khaitan, Rajesh Kumar Meena, Harsh Parashar, Himanshu Khandelwal, Neeraj Balot, Anmol Ranwan, Mohit Kumawat, Sandeep Achara, Ashish Kumar Gupta, Harsh Pabri, Prashant Meena, Anil Meena, Prakhar Sharma and Drisya P. 6) A Rajasthani song “Choudhary” was melodiously rendered by Mregank Soni and was accompanied on the tabla by Ishan Gadgil. 7) An Assamese song by Prakhar Sharma accompanied on the Dafli by Ishan Gadgil. 8) Rajasthani folk dance on the song “Rangilo Maro Dhol Na” by Edla Lekhana, Himani Jain, Divyansh Dubey, Abhishek Bagri, Gopal Karwa and Deepak Kumar. The program began with the anchor Ishan Gadgil welcoming the audience and calling onstage Himanshu Jain who gave an insightful presentation on Rajasthan. After this, Muskaan Maheshwari gave a detailed presentation on Assam.

Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Rajasthan - Assam

After the presentation, Bihu dance was performed by Edla Lekhana, Himani Jain, Divyansh Dubey, Abhishek Bagri, Gopal Karwa and Deepak Kumar.

After this energetic performance we had the Rajasthani folk style “Ghoomar” dance performance by Teena Roy, Drisya P and Niranjana S.

After this, the crowd by entertained by a historic drama depicting the story of Prithviraj Chauhan and Muhammad Ghori. (Narrator: Prakhar Sharma)

In the end, there was a Rajasthani folk dance on the song “Rangilo Maro Dhol Na” by Edla Lekhana, Himani Jain, Divyansh Dubey, Abhishek Bagri, Gopal Karwa and Deepak Kumar.

With this, the program was completed successfully.
