We Can Do It: Developing a PLC that Works

A PLC or Professional Learning Community is an organization

within a school designed to help the staff to improve the

performance for all staff that touch the lives of students.

What is a PLC?

“Professional learning communities operate under the assumption that

the key to improved learning for students is continuous job-

embedded learning for educators” (Dufour, et.al, 2006).
