Dear Families,

Farewell Year 6

It has been a wonderful year with so many highlights. I would like to

say farewell to our year 6 students leaving for high school. It has

been a pleasure being part of your life and I wish you all the very

best for your next great adventure. I love watching year 6 students

become young adults, you see the world differently, your humour

matures and I will miss you terribly. Be bold, take on every oppor-

tunity high school throws your way and know that LPPS is always

here if you need a little help.

Leaders for 2016

Congratulations to our 2016 captains and prefects and let me wel-

come you to the LPPS leadership team. Your peers and your teachers

have recognised you as the right people to represent and take care

of our school. Enjoy the opportunity this creates to make a real

difference and I look forward to working with you on making our

school even better.

Class Plans for 2016

I think that people are interested in what next year might look like so

below is a list of our class plans for the beginning of 2016. These plans

can change due to enrolments going up and down or teachers leaving

over the holiday period. However this is our plan to move forward

with.

I would like to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday (even with

reports going home today). Please take care and I look forward to

seeing you soon.

The school is updating the records of children

listed as having asthma or an allergy. We will be

sending home an action plan that must be

completed and signed by your doctor before it is

returned to school. Please see the school office if

you do not receive an action plan and you believe

your child is at risk of a severe allergic reaction or

a severe asthma attack.

Our Scooter and Bike Policy will be re-enforced in

2016 as we have had scooters and bikes taken

from our bike rack throughout the year.

Students must wear a helmet and chain their

scooter or bike up on the bike rack. They will not

be stored in the office.
