Teacher will lead a popcorn reading from Social Study textbook pages 82-85. After the reading students will verbally discuss the lesson review questions as well as orally complete a venn diagram comparing and contrasting mountains and plains.

In this lesson we will open up with a discussion topic naming the four seasons and activities for each of the seasons. As a class we will read from our social studies book on weather and seasons and how they affect outdoor versus indoor activities. The students will create their own picture book about the four seasons.
