INTRODUCTION

• Standard Barksdale valve is a Shear-Seal® manual directional control valve. • Used in applications where

- high flow, high pressure capability is required- zero-leak performance is requiredcontaminated media is used

• In applications where the valve is actuated remotely, customers had to also install: - pilot actuator- position indicator device

• Time consuming and inconvenient for the customer

• Shear-Seal® directional control valve

BARKSDALE SOLUTION

By incorporating the pilot actuator into one integrated package, Barksdale has eliminated the frequent problems of conventional piloting methods.- No clevis pivot points that can wear out- No additional cylinder mounting brackets that must be in perfect alignment- No cylinder stops that must be set-up at installation

By incorporating the position indicator into the Series II valve, Barksdale has eliminated the need to install conventional position feedback devices.- No installation required, saving the customer time and money- No additional components required- No calibration or adjustment required

The Series II valve comes fully adjusted for accurate shifting to all positions and is ready for installation.
