What’s different about XT?

In 2004, Eaton design engineers developed a new IEC motor starter line. Given pressures on manufacturers to increase profits, some design new lines with one primary objective… to take cost out of the product.

That was not what Eaton had in mind. Eaton created the XT line to be engineered better.

Eaton’s XT IEC Motor Control was re-engineered from the ground up. Every aspect was reconsidered. Is there a better way? Can motor control be easier? Simpler?

The answer is YES. Here are a few of the engineering innovations…

Tool-less Assembly Build a combination type starter or a reversing contactor assembly… without tools.

Redesigned Magnet Frame XT has a new T-C shape magnet frame and armature, making it up to 60% more efficient on coil consumption. What does this mean for you… smaller transformers and power supplies.

Relocated Coil Terminals Ever tried to troubleshoot the coil with 480V power circuit wires in the way? We moved the coil terminals to the front. Safer and Easier.

Better termination New terminal design provides a better connection compared to side-by-side saddle clamp terminals.

You work hard to make your machine the best. Use only the best motor control in your design.
