E SeriesNEWLY DESIGNED CAB

The large, roomy cab on the CaseE Series wheel loader was designedwith productivity and operator comfortin mind.

Case designed the E Series cab tomatch the machine environmentto the operator. The adjustable tiltsteering column, infinitely adjustableseat with arm rests and additionalinterior cab space maximizes operatorcomfort and productivity.

The iso-mounted cab featuresnumerous air diffusers to providemaximum air circulation for faster, more thorough heating and cooling.Floor-to-ceiling glass in the front, along with a sloping rear enginecompartment, offers a panoramic viewfor maximum visibility both forwardand to the rear. The clear, direct viewto the front tires, bucket edge andwork site provides a more safe, productive and efficient operation.

The standard single-lever loadercontrol with a forward-neutral-reverseswitch and transmission downshiftbutton puts all the controls at yourfingertips. A digital display recordsreal-time data, shows diagnostic

information and allows programmingof operational modes.

The in-cab thermal box keeps foodand drink hot or cold during a long, hard day on the job. The cab door andright-hand windows swing back 180degrees for maximum cross ventilation,or the right-hand cab window can beopened slightly to temper the cab.

And then there’s the most comfortablefeature of all—knowing your new wheelloader is supported by Case and yourlocal Case dealer.

Power, utility, comfort and visibility

An unobstructed view to the console’s analog gauges and indicator lights keeps youinformed of critical machine functions.

The spacious cab matches the machine tothe operator through adjustable controlsand easy-to-reach switch locations.

5

Retain more material

Optional Ride Control™ providesgreater material retention whilereducing shock loads both to theoperator and the machine, even overrough terrain. The loader arms workas shock absorbers to cushion thebucket and maintain a full load.Ride Control can be used full time, for cushioning when transportingmaterial up an incline. It can also beprogrammed to automatically engageany time.

Dual limited-slip axlesdeliver more traction, less wear

Case wheel loaders deliver thesuperior traction needed to workefficiently in changing jobsite con-ditions. Unlike competitive models,limited-slip axles are standard Caseequipment. These superior axles (frontand rear) transfer power automatically

from the wheel that is slipping to thewheel that is gripping. This reducestire wear and maximizes tractive effortinto the pile. This helps move morematerial per gallon of fuel and reducetire replacement costs.

Outboard planetary and wet-discbrakes provide ease of serviceabilitybecause they are positioned outsidethe loader frame at the wheel end. With the weight of the planetariesoutside the machine, operator comfortis increased through a smoother, morestable ride.

Fill your bucket faster

The new Case bucket increasesproductivity and provides longerwear. The bolt-on cutting edge wasextended forward for rapid and easypenetration into the pile. The bottomfloor plate of the bucket has been seton a five-degree angle for easytransition of material to the backcurvature of the bucket. This allowsfor the material to mix easily, so you’llfill your bucket rapidly and providemore heaped bucket capacities. Byfilling your bucket faster, you’ll movemore tons per hour.

The skid plates are bolted on for easierrepair and replacement. The hinge pinsare raised up out of the dirt and debrisfor longer life, but also to allow thebolt-on cutting edge to continue cuttingthrough the pile as the bucket is beingcurled, enabling complete bucket fills.

E Series buckets feature an extended bolt-on cutting edge for easier penetration into the pile. The hinge pins are raised up out of the dirt and debris for longer life.

An ergonomic operatorenvironment, featuringa tilt steering columnand a fully adjustablesuspension seat, keepsyou comfortableall day long.

E SeriesENHANCED TIER III-CERTIFIED POWER

Case engines deliverpower and fuel economy

Case E Series wheel loaders arepowered by fully electronic, Tier III-certified Case engines that allow youto match power and fuel economy toyour specific application. The engineincorporates the new electroniccommon-rail fuel injection system, which allows high-pressure fuel andair to mix thoroughly for a cleaner, more efficient combustion.

Choose between three powercurves—max, standard and economypower—and four work modes—max, standard, economy and auto. For high-production activities suchas excavating operations that requirehigh breakout force and maximumpower to the wheels, you can choose

to use maximum power at all times. For operations such as working in apipe yard, handling pallets or movinglight material, economy mode willcomplete the task with the greatestfuel efficiency. In auto mode, theelectronically controlled engineautomatically adjusts between powercurves to move the maximum amountof material per gallon of fuel.

BEST-IN-CLASS MAINTAINABILITY

Easy servicing extends machinelife, lowers ownership costs andincreases resale value. The easier itis to perform daily maintenance andservice, the more likely it is goingto be done correctly and on time—which is why Case designed theE Series wheel loaders withbest-in-class maintainability.

Get your day off to a fast and produc-tive start with easy-to-reach dailyservice checkpoints. The one-piecerear hood provides easy, ground-lineaccess to the engine and all dailymaintenance checkpoints. Fluid sightgauges are positioned at eye level.Three remote drains for coolant, engine and hydraulic oil provideconvenient access for fast, environ-mentally friendly fluid changes.

Keeping your Case wheel loader in toprunning shape requires less effort, soyou can get back to the jobsite.

The Case-exclusive cube-shaped mid-mount coolingmodule supplies clean, ambient air to all coolers, increasing cooling efficiency, reducing fluidbreakdown and extending component life. With no stacked coolers, the mid-mountcooling module prevents debris from pluggingbetween coolers. An optional temperature-controlled fan within the cooling module can bereversed to purge debris from the module withinseconds. This means the machine can remainon the jobsite rather than being moved to acleaning station.

Mid-mount cooling module

More uptime

The only tool required for daily maintenancechecks is a rag to wipe oil off the dipstick.

The electrically actuated rear hoodprovides complete access to the engineand daily maintenance checks.

Material is removed from the cooling moduleby reversing the fan direction with a switchlocated in the cab.
