Thursday 15th travel to Heysham for the afternoon sailing to Douglas,complete the short journey to the Empress Hotel. Friday 16th we take atrip over to the west coast for a day to explore the resort of Peel with its flatsandy beach and absorbing attractions. Sitting at the mouth of the harbour isimpressive Peel Castle, built in 1392. The House of Manannan is a substantialmuseum that leads the visitor through the island’s history with somefascinating Celtic and Viking exhibits. If you’re feeling peckish try sometraditional Manx cuisine at Moore’s Smoked Kipper Factory, an islandfavourite. Saturday 17th a free morning to explore Douglas – don’t missthe Manx Museum in the centre of town. In the afternoon we travel north,via Onchan, to the village of Laxey, we visit the Great Laxey Wheel & MinesTrail known affectionately as the “Lady Isabella”. Named after the wife ofthe Governor and a credit to Victorian engineering, it is the world’s largestworking water wheel and an outstanding icon of the island’s long history ofmining. Sunday 18th we begin today with a classic journey aboard the Isleof Man Steam Railway from Douglas to the seaside resort of Port Erin, enjoysome free time before we pay a visit to nearby Cregneash Folk Village. TheVillage provides a living, working illustration of life in a typical 19th centuryManx crofting community. We continue to the Sounds Visitor Centre forspectacular views over the Calf of Man before returning to Douglas viaCastletown, once the ancient capital of Mann. Monday 19th this morningwe explore the north of the island beginning with a visit to Tynwald Hill,home of the 1000 year old Manx Parliament, we continue along some of theTT Course to ‘Royal Ramsey’ which has a working harbour and aninteresting maritime history. The afternoon is free back in Douglas. Tuesday 20th following an early breakfast we travel to the port for thereturn sailing to Heysham.

We call at Woodbridge one morning before going to nearby SuttonHoo (NT), the Anglo-Saxon royal burial site where pricelesstreasure was discovered in 1939. Another morning we visit Lavenham, one ofBritain’s best preserved medieval villages, we include entrance tothe historic Guildhall (NT). In the afternoon we head on to themarket town of Sudbury, and visit Gainsborough’s House thebirthplace museum of Thomas Gainsborough, one of Britain’sgreatest painters. Constable Country is our destination on anotherday, we first visit Flatford Mill the scene of Constable’s most famouspainting for a guided morning walk. We then go to East Bergholt, anunspoilt village and the birthplace of the famous painter and finallyto the lovely village of Dedham where he went to school. Anotherday we call at Snape Maltings before going to the charming seasidetowns of Aldeburgh and Southwold. On our return journey homewe pay a visit to the National Stud at Newmarket, the showcase forBritish thoroughbred horse breeding, for a behind the scenes lookat one of the most prestigious stud farms in the country.

We make our way to Lincolnshire, with a stop at Barnsdale Gardens,home to 38 individual gardens originally created by TV gardener GeoffHamilton for the BBC’s “Gardeners World” programme. One morningwe visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre at RAFConingsby, we enjoy an informative guided tour of the hangar wherethese historic aeroplanes are meticulously maintained. In theafternoon take time to enjoy the delightful village of Woodhall Spa,home to the Dambusters Memorial. Another day we visit Lincoln,home to an awe inspiring Cathedral. Enjoy a guided tour of the citywhere we can look back at over 2000 years of history and discover thecities Roman, Norman, Medieval, Tudor and Georgian heritage. Afterthe guided tour you will be able to explore at leisure. We discover theLincolnshire Wolds on another day, stopping at the charming markettown of Louth, we visit stunning St.James’ Church and enjoy a guidedtour of the Louth Museum. We continue to the beautiful market townof Alford where we visit Alford Manor House, the house dates from1611 and is the largest thatched manor house in the country. Finally,no trip to Alford is complete without a visit to the Five SailedWindmill. Considered the finest in England, the windmill is still in usetoday. We then travel to beautifulTrebah Gardens, a sub-tropical paradise with a stunning coastalbackdrop. Discover the magic of this Cornish valley garden withover four miles of footpaths. Another morning we travel to NorthCornwall and visit the picturesque fishing village of Padstow, madefamous by Rick Stein’s popular television series. Monday (alias Christmas Eve) a morning departure for the southcoast. After a suitable lunch stop en-route we arrive at our hotel duringthe afternoon. There is time to settle in before meeting up witheveryone for a wine reception in the lounge at 5.30pm. Dinner will beserved at 6.15pm in the restaurant followed by Bingo and festivemusic. Tuesday (alias Christmas Day) today we take an excursionfirst to maritime Poole, a delightful town with an historic quayside.Afterwards, we cross Poole Harbour by way of the Sandbanks Ferry tothe Isle of Purbeck. Travelling via Studland we visit the quaint seasideresort of Swanage where we spend some time before returning to ourhotel in Weymouth. Tonight enjoy a good old-fashioned ChristmasDinner with crackers and a visit from “Santa” with gifts for everyone,followed by an evening of entertainment. Wednesday (alias BoxingDay) a free day at leisure in Weymouth. 1. When you make your booking you must complete a booking form accepting these conditions on behalf of all persons on the booking form and pay a non refundable deposit of £55.00 per person, £65.00 per person for the Isle of Man Holiday (please note payments madeby credit card will incur a 1.6% charge). You will then be issued with a booking confirmation and your Insurance policy, please readcarefully paying particular attention to the medical warranty, failure to notify us of anything that applies could affect anyclaim made. 2. The balance of your holiday is due 6 weeks before travel. Bookings within 6 weeks of travel require full payment (please note payments made by credit card will incur a 1.6% charge). If the balance is not paid on time, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and apply thecancellation charges set out below.

3.You or any person on the booking form may cancel your holiday at any time providing that the person making the original booking does so in writing. Cancellation charges will apply as follows:Cancellation more than 42 days before departure date – loss of deposit. Within 8 - 42 days before departure – loss of deposit and a £50.00 charge plus any charges made by the hotel.Less than 8 days before departure 100% of the total cost.If this is an insurable reason this may be recovered on the insurance included in the cost of your holiday.

4. Financial Protection – The Package Travel Regulations 1992 require us to provide security for the monies that you pay for the package holidays booked from this brochure and for your repatriation in the event of our insolvency. We provide this security by way of a bondheld by ABTA.

5. If after booking you wish to change to another of our holidays within the same brochure we will do all we can to accommodate you, providing the request is made in writing from the person who made the original booking.

6. Please advise us of any special requests at the time of booking on the booking form under special requirements. If you have any disabilities or special needs please consult us as to the suitability of your chosen hotel. We must stress clients needing any assistance musthave a responsible companion with them.

7. If you have a problem during your holiday please notify your courier/driver and the relevant supplier hotel/Easytravel who will do all they can to put things right. Easytravel is a member of ABTA with membership numbers 26458 and W2204, ABTA & ABTA members helpholidaymakers to get the most from their travel and assist them when things do not go according to plan. We are obliged to maintain ahigh standard of service to you by ABTA’s code of conduct. 8. Changes in transport costs i.e. the cost of fuel, government taxes or exchange rates mean that the price of your travel arrangements may change after you have booked. However there will be no change within 30 days of your departure. We will absorb and you will not becharged for any increase equivalent to 2% of the price of your travel arrangements, which excludes insurance premiums and anyamendment charges. You will be charged for the amount over and above that, plus an administration charge of £3.00pp together with anamount to cover agents commission. If this means that you have to pay an increase of more than10% of the price of your travelarrangements, you will have the option to cancel your holiday with a full refund of all monies paid, except for any amendment charges.Should you decide to cancel for this reason, you must exercise your right to do so within 14 days from the issue date printed on your finalinvoice.

9. We reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel your travel arrangements. For example, if the minimum number of clients required for a particular travel arrangement is not reached, we may have to cancel it. An alternative holiday would be offered in the event ofcancellation or a full refund would be made if the alternative were not acceptable. No holiday will be cancelled less than 28 days beforedeparture. Minor alterations will be given to you at once. Any major changes will give you the option of cancelling without charge. Forcemajeure: we will not pay you compensation if we have to cancel or change your travel arrangements in any way because of unusual orunforeseeable circumstances beyond our control. These can include, for example, war, riot, industrial dispute, terrorist activity and itsconsequences, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, epidemics & pandemics, unavoidable technical problems withtransport.

10. We accept responsibility for ensuring that the holiday you book with us is as described in the brochure and that the services provided reach a reasonable standard. If any part of the holiday is not provided, as stated in the brochure, we will offer you compensation up to thecost of your holiday.

11. We accept responsibility for death or injury caused by the negligent acts and/or omissions of our employees and subcontractors, servants and/or agents of the same whilst acting within the scope of, or in the course of their employment in the provision of yourholiday. We will accordingly pay to the client damages as may have been awarded under English law. In respect of carriage by sea and landtravel and the provision of accommodation our liability will be limited in the manner provided by the relevant international convention.

12. In the unlikely event of a travel delay of more than 4 hours i.e. breakdown or traffic conditions, Easytravel will do their very best to ensure passengers comfort at all times. If necessary this would include alternative transport and/or refreshments where possible.

13. This contract is made on the terms of these booking conditions, which are governed by English law and both parties shall submit to the jurisdiction of English courts at all times.

14. Data Protection: In order to process your booking and to ensure that your travel arrangements run smoothly and meet your requirements we need to use the information you provide such as name, address, any special needs/dietary requirements etc. We take fullresponsibility for ensuring that proper security measures are in place to protect your information.
