▪ Grants – $175,000 in contributions over past 4 years for programs, equipment, and other needs that directly enhance classroom learning

▪ Education – Funding for Math Lab, SAT & ACT test prep, Reflections Art Program, Parent Ed, Prevention Intervention Counselor, Multi-Lingual Library Books, Equipment for Science, Language Arts, Music classes, and more...

▪ Enriching our community – Holiday Bazaar, Emergency Prep, legislative advocacy, Angel Fund/Pantry Packs for EHS families in need

▪ At Eastlake, the HSBP is implemented using Xello, a program that lets students explore various post-secondary paths. Students identify interests, skills, desired amount of education and more to create best-fit suggestions for your student's future career and schooling.

▪ Completion of the HSBP is done throughout the four years at Eastlake and in a variety of courses and activities.

▪ Students will register for courses through Skyward this year.

Health and Fitness

Reasons to take 9th Grade Health & Fitness▪ .5 Health credits (fulfills graduation requirement)

▪ .5 PE credits (will need additional 1.0 credits to graduate –requires only two additional semesters during 10th-12th grade)

▪ Research shows that activity and exercise boost academic performance, relieve stress, and promote better sleep

▪ We discuss a healthy lifestyle and put learned concepts into action during class time

▪ Focus on overall Wellness includes Mental and Emotional Health, Stress Relief, Time Management, and Healthy Lifestyle choices

▪ Great way to balance an academic schedule; input stress relief and activity into the school day
