Come and see what Lincoln Drill Hall’s Youth Theatre groups have been up to during the last few months as they present their latest productions. Highly original, often moving, frequently hilarious and always quirky, FishTank Youth Theatre performances are devised entirely by the young participants and are completely unique!

The Case of the Curious SuitcasesTUES 31 MARCH, 2pm

At a small rural train station 3 people arrive for the next train. But the train is delayed, the longer they wait the more strange things start to happen… Potty old porters, the world’s worst sandwiches and the never-ending Lost & Found department are only the start of the adventure. A show bursting with fun and visual fantasy. This show is suitable for children from 5 years upwards

A vivacious and interactive voice playground for families to enjoy together. The Tongue Wizards: Queen Victor the Fabulous, and Volumia the Librarian, will help you to explore two magical worlds filled with interactive electronics where you can explore the power of your unique voice. Light a vocal fire! A lively romp around your unique voice and the surprising things it can do, starring you. Suitable for 6-11 year olds and their adults.

UNDER FIVEs STORYTIME2 April - If I Were The Easter Bunny: A little rabbit dreams of being the Easter Bunny, hiding lots and lots of Easter eggs all over the meadow, having tea parties, making Easter bonnets and leading the way in the Easter parade.

9 April - The Great Easter Egg Scramble: The Easter Bunny has been so busy preparing for his party that he’s forgotten to deliver eggs to all of his friends! Off he scrambles to deliver the eggs at top speed, but when Mrs Duck hatches a baby croc and the turtles become parents to a penguin chick, the Easter Bunny’s mix-up soon becomes clear.

This fabulous classical music group present a special family friendly concert as part of the Eastival Children’s Festival celebrations. Helen O’Connell, flute, Adrian Sutcliffe keyboard, Chris Brannick percussion. Plus workshop for ages 6+ from 11am - 12noon. £2.50 per child & free ticket to the concert.

FAMILY FOLK AND BARN DANCE DAY

Join us for a fantastic folk-flavoured family day led by local folk legend Liam Robinson and featuring live music, dance, crafts & song. You can drop in for free at anytime between 11am & 3pm to join in, plus you can sign up for one of two hour-long Family Barn Dances in the auditorium at 12noon or 2pm (£3 per person).

YOUNG ARTISTS SATURDAY WORKSHOP

Join us for a fun and creative art workshop for 8 - 16 year olds, where you can craft your own unique sculpture from modelling clay. Young Artists Workshops take place every second Saturday of the month in the Usher Gallery. Places are limited, please book in advance.

EASTER EGG CHALLENGETake part in an Easter egg challenge across all three sites. There are 10 Easter eggs hidden at The Collection, The Drill Hall and Lincoln Performing Arts Centre; find the eggs, complete the picture challenge and claim your reward! You can start your challenge at any of the three venues and can use the whole week to complete it. Rewards will be available at all the venues.
