Steel City Rovers ... lite 3! – October 22, 7 p.m. Dave Neigh and Mark Fletcher demonstrate their musical versatility and “celtability” of a whole salmagundi (miscellany) of instruments. Highland Steps and Lowland BalladsNovember 19, 7 p.m.Enjoy traditional Scottish song, dance and fiddle tunes with Dave and guest singer/dancer Laura Ashfield. Holiday Open House – December 13, 1 to 4 p.m. Dave’s unique fiddle music provides the musical backdrop. Enjoy treats and traditional Scottish hospitality. Place a bid on your favourite Paint the Grand piece.

Farewell Concert – March 2016 – Dave Neigh bids a musical farewell at this concert and the incoming Musician-in-Residence is introduced.

McDougall CottageMcDougall Cottage, an 1858 granite and limestone labourer’s house, is located in downtown Cambridge in the historic factory district. Home for more than a century to two families of hardworking Scots, the McDougalls and the Bairds, this charming cottage with its pocket-sized gardens, boasts some of the most spectacular hand-painted friezes and trompe l’oeil ceilings Ontario has to offer.

The Cottage serves as an interpretation centre, hosting a variety of special events that celebrate the area’s Scottish heritage. Regular events include monthly Ceilidhs, Tartan Teas and Kids in Kilts afternoons.
