The objectives of this lesson – pupils will be able to:

•understand that every place has unique physical and human characteristics, which can be interpreted and represented in different ways•know where places and landscapes are located, why they are there, the patterns and distributions they create

To achieve this:

•Use Google Earth (or google maps or the NASA Earth as Art site) to find artistic images of the Earth •Paste your carefully chosen image into word or ppt•Decide on a title for your piece of art and create a piece of fictional writing about the image
