What is E-Rate?

The Schools and Libraries Program of the Universal Service Fund, "E-Rate."

Provides many schools and libraries a discount so they may have access to telecommunications and Internet at an affordable price.

To receive E-Rate, the District must submit a plan that must include five (elements).

Look to the Future

In-depth professional development for integration of technology in the curriculum should boost the use of technology in all subjects.

Embedded technology should promote better differentiation of instruction that is learner-centered.

Improved District Infrastructure should result in a more reliable network that will support the use of new technologies in the classroom.
