Information Training

Communication Campaigns and Activities

Basic IT skills Skills in using e-services

Information about the benefits that people can get using Internet and computers, as well as other ICT at libraries;

Motivation and encouragement to those who haven’t yet been confident to come to libraries.

• Interactive training for:- Children under 4th grade; - People with disabilities;- Seniors.

• Training programs and materials.• Teaching methodology for librarians.• Trainings completed in cooperation with service providers (inbox.lv, e-latvenergo, etc.).

Informative travelling exhibition:• Campaign lasting from March 31 to June 15, 2009;• Exposure: 30 expositions, 27 opening events in all

administrative regions of Latvia;• Six parallel exhibitions exposed in frequently visited

public places, mostly supermarkets, with duration two weeks;

• High reach of target audiences due to the places of exposition and media relations.
