e-Goods Declaration The Customs and Excise Division manages the clearance process for goods entering Trinidad and Tobago. In order to import cargo into the country, a licensed Customs Broker may be hired to clear the goods once the value of the consignment is in excess of TT$20,000.00. The Customs and Excise Division requires all goods be declared correctly through the Customs Border Control System (Asycuda World) to enable smooth processing and clearance of goods. This e-service enables the Importer/Exporter, or authorized agent of imported goods, excluding non-commercial or carrier/postal packages, who has submitted an electronic customs declaration (e-C82) to the Customs Border Control System (Asycuda World) to obtain regulatory approvals/endorsements from the Trade Licence Unit of the Ministry of Trade and Industry; the Food and Drug Inspectorate and the Pesticides and Toxic Chemicals Inspectorate of the Ministry of Health; the Plant Quarantine Service of the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries; and the Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards. e-Goods DeclarationThe Customs and Excise Division manages the clearance process for goods entering Trinidad and Tobago. Customs Broker/Clerk willbe noti�ed of the decision

via CBCS.

Customs Broker/Clerk submits declaration online via CBCS.

CBCS routes data sets to Regulatory Agencies.

3. The Customs Broker/Clerk will be required to submit an electronic declaration (e-C82) to theComptroller of Customs and Excise via the Customs Border Control System.

4. Upon submission and self-assessment in the Customs Border Control System, the relevantdata set as specified in the Ninth Schedule of the Customs Amendment Act, Chapter 78:01will be routed to the necessary regulatory agencies:

5. Regulatory Agencies will provide their endorsements electronically via TTBizLink. TTBizLinkwill then route these endorsements to the Customs Border Control System.

6. The Customs Broker/Clerk will be notified of the approval via the Customs Border ControlSystem.

7. The Customs Broker/Clerk can print the "Additional Information Page" from the CustomsBorder Control System.
