Introduction
• The arrival of the internet has introduced new concepts in world commerce.
• The marketing of products and exchange services become more fast, remote, simple, updated.
• Offered a wide possibility of communication between the client (cyber consumer) and the exponent with no extra cost, with information always updated.
Definition of E-commerce:
• E-commerce acronym of electronic commerce is a type of industry where the buying and selling of products, services and information is conducted over electronic systems such as the internet and computer networks.
• Generally it is considered to be the sales aspect of e-business. But it also consists of exchange of data to facilitate the financing and payment and transactions.
Definition of E-commerce:
• And it is include several technologies such as mobile commerce, electronic funds transfer, Internet marketing, online transaction processing, electronic data interchange.
• And it is mainly use World Wide Web and communication way e-mail, mobile devices, social media ...
• But it is often confused with e-business!
E-commerce and E-business
• While electronic commerce is the process of buying, selling, or exchanging products, services, and information via computer networks.
• The e-business is a broader definition that includes not just that basic operations, but also servicing customers, collaborating with business partners, and conducting electronic transactions. Generally is the use of internet for economic reasons.
• So e-commerce is a sub activity of e-business.
• Business-to-Business (B2B) e-commerce between companies. This is the type of e-
commerce that deals with relationships between and among businesses.

Types of E- Commerce
• Business-to-Government (B2G) commerce between companies and the public sector. It
refers to the use of the Internet for public procurement, licensing procedures, and other government-related operations.
• Consumer-to-Consumer (C2C) is simply commerce between private individuals or
consumers. This type of e-commerce is characterized by the growth of electronic marketplaces and online auctions.

Types of E- Commerce
Security and Responsibilities
• E-commerce systems naturally have greater security risks than traditional commerce systems, therefore it is important to protect the fully system customers, suppliers, employees and all other people use any e-commerce system.
• So the responsibility is divided in two sides. What security level the system should offer? And what customer should care about?
System Security
• Authenticity: any Money transaction needs establishing authenticity with electronic information’s like password, PIN or card number it may be altered and copied, so this operation must be very private.

• Access Control: Some information is limited to only an authorized individual; the system must have assurance with digital signatures that no one else can access to this information.

• Data Transmission: All sensitive information being transmitted should be encrypted.

• let’s see some commonly bad habits of customers and internet users.

What is m-commerce?
• Mobile commerce is corresponding to the use of mobile device like smartphone, tablet or PDA to make commerce, and its mean that all the capabilities of e-commerce are available in the consumer’s hand, anywhere, anytime, via wireless technology.
• And its offer a lots of services and products.
M-commerce products and services
• Mobile Banking and Money Transfer: In Kenya money transfer is mainly done through the use of mobile phones.

• Mobile Ticketing: Receive your Tickets using your mobile, and presenting it at the ticket check.

• Content Purchase and Delivery: Consists of the sale of ring-tones, wallpapers, games, music tracks and videos. And with 4G networks it’s possible to download a movie on a mobile device in a couple of seconds.
• Mobile Browsing and Information Services: Receiving news, sports scores, financial records, and using an internet browser like PC.
M-commerce products and services
• Mobile Purchase and Payments: Catalog merchants can accept orders from customer’s mobile, and payments can be made directly with no complicated actions.
Conclusion
• In this presentation we see how E-commerce and M-commerce are changed the view of world commerce.
• And we see the responsibilities of consumers and sellers in security and how avoid some security problems.
