The reference letter provided the Supply System response to IE Bulletin79-02 Revision 2, as well as informed you of a reportable condition under10CFR50.55(e) with respect to ASi1E III, Seismic. Category I pipe supports.

This letter revises our commitments and provides a status with revisedcompletion dates.

1. Verification that base plate flexibility was accounted for incalcula ting anchor bolt loads.Recalculate anchor bolt loads on existing designs by June 1980.Status: Completion has been rescheduled to February 28, 1981.

2. Completion of items 1-6 (of the reference letter) for installed pipesupports with concrete anchor bolts.Obtain torque vs preload data for Hilti Kwik bolts in time tosupport a June 1980 resolution to all existing designs.S ta tus : Testing was completed in July 1980. Final results areexpected from liilti in September 1980. Actual torque values foreach hanger design will be known in September and will be completedfor each hanger during the review until the 79-02 review is com-pleted in late February 1981.
