    Guidelines for the Assignment

    Each student should search pharmacology books and/or the internet and find out informationabout 20 different drugs from the list bellow. Choose one drug from each line. After reading theinformation, the student should summarize each drug by his/her own HAND WRITING. The

    following information should be included about each drug:

    Generic name

    Trade name. Look for the names used in Gaza Strip, ask a pharmacist about the local names.

    Pregnancy category.

    Classification

    Action, brief discretion.

    Dose

    Uses.

    Contraindications

    Side effects.

    Nursing interventions (Considerations)

    Please notice:

    1. You should handwrite the assignment (typed assignments will not be accepted).2. Dont just copy from the book or the web page. Read the book or web page and then

    summarize it.3. Dont copy from your friends work. If this should happen, both students will be

    penalized.4. Write the reference (the book or web page) for each drug.5. Start each drug on a new page and use a number for each drug.6. Use different color for the topics mentioned above (trade name, uses, nursing
