Dreams come true by belief

Prologue

“I am sorry Sasha. We have to let you go because we are downsizing our staff.

Amber, manager of the rest home of Comfort Ones”, she told Sasha. Sasha left

Amber's office with heaviness on her shoulders. She drove back to her room that

she was renting at the boarding home in her hometown of Kinston, North Carolina.

The next day, Sasha went to apply for unemployment at the employment

office. It is hard to find a job, as a nurse's assistant in her town. She didn't have

the gas money to work out of town, so she needs to find a local job. What is she

going to do now with no job? If things get worse, she would have to move back

home with her parents. Moreover, Sasha was on her own ever since she was 18

years old, and she wants to keep it that way.

She is now at home. What a hectic day, it took 2 hours until she was

waited on. She went in her small refrigerator to get a can soda. She was sipping

on her soda while she listens to some slow jams from the 1990's. “I can focus on

my writing of my first book, and see what happens”, Sasha thought to herself. “I

will write literature until I get a job”, Sasha continue to think to herself. Sasha is

going after her dreams. All of her dreams will come to by her belief.

Chapter one

Sasha Bailey made a trip to the employment office to turn in her paper of

her weekly job search. She was rewarded $200 a week for her benefits. It was

not a lot of money, but it was an income, she could manage it until something

another job can come her way.

She left the unemployment office, went to her parents’ house. “Hey

Sasha. Come in”, said Anne, her mother. “Hi Mommy”. “Your father went with his

buddies to go fishing at Hollow creek. Mommy, I just left the employment office to

turn in my weekly job search. If I can't a job before my benefits run out, I have to

move back home”, Sasha said sadly. “Sasha, dear you are always welcome to

move back home. It just me, and your father since you and your brother, Sam has

left home. Your room is still available for you. ”Mom, I do appreciate that. I know

things will get better for me by my faith. Sweetie it will get better for you. Sasha,

do want a soda, or some pound cake. Sasha and Anne enjoyed their visit

together.

Sasha left her parent's house and headed on home. She went to her room

and got comfortable, and then she went to her table and worked on her

manuscript. She worked on her book the rest of the afternoon.

Chapter two

The next day, Sasha went out to lunch with a group of friends. They

laughed and talked about what was going on in their lives. “Sasha, what are you

doing since you are not working”, asked Mindy, one of her friends. “I am still

looking for work. I started my book,” replied Sasha “That sounds great. Your

unemployment will help you until you find another job. You will get a job soon.”

“Mindy, I believe that. I am doing what I like to do which is writing. I am going to

finish my book, if I get a job, or not. The group of friends brought their gathering

to a close. Sasha left the restaurant and went home.

Sasha was doing some house cleaning, and her cell phone rang. “Hello”.

“Hello, its Johnny. How are you?” “Fine. How are you and your wife, Monica

doing””We are fine. You are still my home girl. I want to see you.” “OK, but better

Monica in check because I don't want any nasty phone calls from your wife” It's

OK. I will be there in 5 minutes.”” OK bye Johnny” Johnny came over a brought a

pizza. Sasha and Johnny was high school sweetheart. Even though there

relationship came to an end, they stayed good friends. After dinner, Johnny left.

Sasha washed the dishes and put them away.

The next day, after breakfast, Sasha began to work on her manuscript on

her book of poetry.

“I am a positive woman

I go after all my dream and goals in many ways

Nothing in life would lead me astray

She wrote down more of these verses in her manuscript. Her book is called

“Wisdom in the mist of me, by Sasha Bailey. She wrote down in her business log a

group of possible publishers. In the future, she will publish her own books. Also,

she is still trying to find a job before her unemployment runs out. She needs an

income to keep her a float. Moreover, Sasha's income now is just enough to pay

her bills, and keep her place. Later that afternoon, Sasha went to the gym to work

out. She used the weight machines for a little of weight training. She tries to

work out three times a week to keep her busy and to have a healthy body.

Exercise is a key to a good mental health which is a stress relief. She went home

after her work out.

Chapter three

Sasha got her a job, as a housekeeper at Miles Motel. She works five a

week. On her days off, she works on her manuscript.

“Sasha, I need for you to go to the office. I need to speak to you”, Mike

Miles, her boss came to one of her room and spoke to her. She finished her last

room of the day, and went to the business office. “Mr. Miles, you wanted to see

me?” “Yes, Sasha. You have been a good worker. I know you work for five days,

but I need for you for me every other week-end. ”Thank you, Mr. Miles. I need the

extra time.” “That will be all, Sasha”, replied Mr. Miles. Sasha left his office with a

promotion. She arrived home from work and went to her room, she could get

comfortable and prepare for dinner. She stopped at Sandy's and brought a salad,

chicken nuggets and a coke for dinner.

Her cell phone rang. “Hello dear, it’s Mom. How are you?” said Anne. “I am

fine. I was just finishing my dinner. Mom, I got some extra hours on the job. Mr.

Miles got me working every other week-end. I am very grateful.” Sweetheart, that

is wonderful. I want to go over to visit, sometime. “I will be over tomorrow.” Sasha

told her mother in a sorry tune. “OK dear. I know you are working all the time. I

just want to see my little girl” ”I know Mom. I will be over tomorrow.” “OK dear. I

will see you tomorrow. Bye dear.” OK Mama, I love you. ”I love you, too. Bye

Sasha.” “Bye”. Sasha hangs up her cell phone. She relaxed the rest of the

evening.

Chapter four

Sasha was at work at Miles Motel. She was cleaning one of the rooms,

and a handsome gentleman was standing by her cart. “Hello Miss, can I get some

towels. My name is Tony. Here is my card. I am a stockbroker. Call me sometime.

”Thank you, my name is Sasha.” “I am going to let you go back to work. I don't

want to get you in trouble. Thank you for the towels.” “You are welcome. She left

her cart and went back cleaning on of the rooms.

Sasha finished out her day on her job. There was a big smile on her face

because she made a new friend, Tony. She decided to wait a day or two before she

called him.

She went to the table and eats her supper where she got from Go Chicken.

She brought three wings and some Cajun rice with a Sprite. After dinner, she

worked to put the finishing touches of her manuscript. She will finish her book by

tomorrow. Sasha talked to her publishing consultant at Starlight publishing who

will publish her first book. She worked on her book the rest of the night to meet

her deadline. Afterward, she went to bed.

Chapter five

Six months has passed, Sasha was still working as a housekeeper at Miles

Motel. She was getting royalty checks from Starlight publishing, and her

paychecks from her job which helped her get by with her finances.

Tony and Sasha have been dating for four months. She really has fallen in

love with Tony. Tony felt the same way, as Sasha did. Every time they were

together, Tony and Sasha told each other that they love each other.

One night, Sasha and Tony went on a date just cruising down the street in

their town. They stopped at Poppy subs to buy some 6-inch subs. They ordered

take-out for their food. Sasha and Tony went back in the car and ate their

sandwiches while they were riding.

Tony had Sasha home by eight o'clock. He kissed her good-bye in his car.

Sasha got out of the car and went into the boarding house. Before she went to her

room, Sasha checks her mailbox and there was a tall envelope along with other

mail. She went into her room, sat down and opened her mail. In the envelope, it

was a certificate with a gold seal and along was a check which was ten thousand

dollars. Sasha was so happy that she called Tony. “Baby, “Yes, Sasha what is it?” I

have a check for ten thousand in royalties”, she told Tony with excitement.

“Baby, that is great. What are going to do with all that money?” replied Tony. “I

want to go shopping this weekend, and I am going to bank the rest.” “Baby, I am

happy for you. I have to go because I have to get up early tomorrow morning”

“OK, Tony. We can go out this weekend. Love you. Bye.” Sasha hangs up her cell

phone. Sasha won a Best-sellers award at Starlight publishing. She tried to settle

herself down, but she was real happy.

The next day, Sasha had a day off, so she went to her bank to deposit the

ten thousand dollars.

You can make your dreams come true even if you have obstacles that try to stand

in your way. Dreams do come by your belief.

Chapter Six

It was a moon-lit night; Sasha and Tony decided to take a drive. They went

to the waterfront. Sasha and Tony were holding hands, as they walked down the

waterfront. Suddenly, they stopped walking and sat on a bench, as watched the

river. “Baby, I love you. Sasha, you are my world. Close your eyes” Sasha closed

her eyes. Tony put a diamond engagement ring on her finger. “Sasha, by my wife

for life” “I will, baby forever” “They kissed each other, as the moonlight was

shining, and the stars were twinkling. It was getting late, so Tony drove Sasha

home.

Sasha is now engaged. Also, she was a best-selling author of her first

poetry book. She is so happy that things are working out for her favor. She feels

that she is top of the world.

Eight months later, Sasha and Tony were married she moved out her room

at the boarding house to Tony's three bedroom house. Tony was a successful

stockbroker. She no longer works because she had a successful book, and Tony

took good care of his wife. Sasha was a happy married woman. Her dreams did

come true by her belief.

Chapter Seven

Sasha has started a new manuscript for her motivational book. The book

was about self-esteem, and how she had low self-esteem, as a child. She was an

overweight child. She started working out when she came out of high school and

kept the weight off over since. When Sasha exercises, she releases stress, and it

keeps her in the right framed of mind. She tries to walk around her block at three

times a week, if her schedule permits.

Sasha's cell phone rings, as she sits on the couch watching TV. “Hello,

Sasha. It's Keith, you publishing consultant. How is your new book coming along?”

“It's coming along fine. I will have it finished by the end of the week. I am relaxing

right now. “Good Sasha. Email the manuscript, and I will take it from there.”

Sounds Great. I will do that. Keith, I will talk to you later” ”Bye Sasha” ”Bye”.

Sasha hanged up her cell phone.

Tony walked into the house as she hanged up her cell phone. “Hi Honey”

“My Sasha”. Sasha went over to kiss her husband. They were kissing. “Tony, how

was your day.” “I have three new clients who brought some stocks. I have a four

thousand dollar commission. Life is good” ”Baby, how was your day?” “Tony, it

was fine. I am almost finished with my motivational book. It will be finished by the

end of the week.” “Baby let’s celebrate. Sasha calls Pizza and orders a large pizza

and a soda

Sasha finished her new book and emails it to the publisher. When you have good

self-esteem, and love yourself. You can do anything that you set your mind to do.

Remember: Dreams do come true by your belief in yourself.

Chapter eight

Anthony David Nelson Jr. was born a year later. Tony and Sasha are proud

parents of a son. Sasha has to use time management to plan her day because of

her writing career. It is hard to care for an infant to find time to write books. She

decided to put Little Tony in daycare when he is three months old.

Sasha decided to go and visit her parents, so they can see Little Tony.

“Hello Sasha. Where is my Little Anthony”, replied Anne. “Here is Mom”, answered

Sasha. Anne took the baby out Sasha arms and held him. “Mom, the baby is

doing fine. He is sleeping through the night now. I am going to put him in daycare

when he turns three months old. It a break from writing because the baby takes

up my time. ”Sasha, you have a good plan. You need to put some cereal in the

bottle. Not too much, you need to put a little bit.” “OK I will do that.”

Sasha visits her mother for the rest of the afternoon and then she and the baby

went home.

Sometimes, a woman has a busy schedule. She may have to manage a

house, kids, time for their spouse along with other things. A successful is a woman

that is woman of all trades. You can have a busy schedule, but you don't want to

burn yourself out. You can make your dreams happen. They will came will come

true by your belief.

Chapter 9

Sasha was called to appear on a local TV show called, “Kinston Today”.

She was to about her motivational book called, “Life lessons”. Sandy Storm is the

host of this show. Sasha is now making an appearance of the show. “Sasha, you

have a book out called, Life lessons. Tell our viewer about your book”, said Sandy

Storm. “Yes, Sandy. My book is about building up your self-esteem and how you

can be good to yourself. We can have too much going on in a day, and we can get

overwhelmed. We have to have a positive framed of mind”, responded Sasha.

“Sasha, that sounds good. We need to take care ourselves. Before the end of this

segment, Could you give us a closing thought? “Yes, Sandy. Take care of yourself

and be good to you”. “I am Sandy Storm, and we will be right back.”

Closing Thought

Sasha was devastated when she lost her job. She didn't give up.

Moreover, she found her niche in her life, or something she was good at which

was writing books. Writing books made her money for her. What is your Niche' in

life? We have to have a profession that we do enjoy, and not have a job that we

are not happy with. God is father that helps solves our problems, and He will give

us a prosperous and a life that we may enjoy. You can achieve all your dreams and

goals by your belief in God and yourself.
