Government Ayurveda Medical College, Bengaluru, affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, is a pioneer institute in India which was established in the premises of S.J.I.I.M, Bengaluru in the year 1967 with an excellent infrastructure and expert teaching faculty.

The Postgraduate studies in Dravya Guna, Rasa Shastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana(DRB) was started in the year 1975; later an exclusive department for Dravya Guna was established. The department of Dravya Guna with excellent staff, necessary infrastructure, herbal Garden, Museum and Laboratory is successfully producing Stalwarts who have excelled in various fields of Ayurveda.

Being the oldest post graduate department of this renowned institution, the department till date has conducted various ROTP’s, NRHM programs, workshops, CME, symposia, State and National level seminars and International conferences.

Yet again the post graduate department of Dravyaguna is proudly presenting “Dravya Guna Prabodhini- 2019”. This seminar focuses on the topics which are related to Dravyaguna post graduate syllabus, current researches and applied aspects to motivate the post graduate students.

A pre conference workshop ‘Dravyacon’ is organized at Drug Testing Laboratory with a focal theme of Drug standardization and hands on training with Microscopy, Phyto-chemistry, HPTLC and UV Spectrophotometry and is limited to 40 delegates.

Abstracts with full papers are invited to the below mentioned focus areas:

3. Classical Red Listed Medicinal Plants and updated methods of Conservation

4. Cosmeceuticals / Neutraceuticals – Drug approach
