CORE2nd Street is the center of the downtown core andtherefore calls for a unique design to defineDowntown McCall:
▪ Potential for special pavement treatmentsand flush curbs that create a pedestrianfocused environment and make the streetconducive to temporary closures for peopleto gather for special events.
▪ Visual access to Payette Lake through ArtRoberts Park from 2nd Street
2nd Street Lenora, Park and 1st StreetLenora, Park and 1st Street are typical streets in the downtownwith low speeds, short blocks, and relatively low traffic volumes:
▪ Primary function is to provide pedes-trian connections, access to adjacentbusinesses, public on-street parking, and other uses in the Downtown
▪ Lenora Street is an importantpedestrian connection from thepublic parking lot at 1st Street to theDowntown Core and the Lakefront.* 1st Street pending funding
The typical roadway cross sections for 2nd, Lenora, Parkand 1st Street, have been developed and vetted throughthe public involvement process for the McCall DowntownMaster Plan. Now that the typical cross sections are de-fined, the design features that would accomplish the goalsas defined in the master plan are being evaluated.
