Donor Dawson enjoys talking to our staff when visiting our offices. Being a doctor he can appear very authoritarian but through meet-ings with our staff, his true softer inner side is revealed.

He has traveled to many countries as well as worked and lived abroad, which has given him great experiences for life.

His first priority is his family in general of whom he is very proud and he has recently completed his family with a beautiful baby girl.

I work as a medical doctor and researcher, but first and foremost, I’m a human being and as such, it fills my heart with joy to know that my act of donation might assist you on the path towards one of the most beautiful events that life has to offer: Childbirth and parenthood.

Describe your personalityI have formed by the fact that I have travelled the world and, during my medical studies, thus lived in South America, Asia, Europe and Africa.

Describe your weaknessesI have difficulties in forming long-lasting friendships that are not romantic with women, though I think this has become less of a problem in the last couple of years. I am very focussed on finances and have a large stock portfolio, which sometimes means that I choose not to take part in social activities because I would rather save up the money, and invest them.

Describe your strengthsI see myself as a great doctor that spans very widely, having experienced many unique countries and situ-ations, speaking many languages and being able to excel in just about any environment I am thrown into.

What are you most proud of and why?I have had a year as a research student abroad. When I completed this year, I was completely fluent in the local language and upon returning to Scandinavia, I could act as a official translator in this language. I bought and equipped a Honda XRV750 Africa Twin motorcycle that I drove from Europe to abroad to start a PhD. I still own the motorcycle and ride it each day when I’m working at the project.

Describe your fondest childhood memory For each day from I was 4-5 years old till I turned 18 and moved away from my parents’ home, my father would prepare outmeal for me, pretty much no matter what time I’d get out of bed.

Describe some of your best experiences In my family, we have had many great holidays, preferably to South America where my dad grew up. Those trips were unique and has definitely formed my personality as an adult.

What did you dream of becoming as a child?A soccer player like Rivaldo or Cafú (Brazilian players)

Describe your relationship with your family?My family is small at this point, basically consisting

of my parents and my sister. We have a very close relationship, albeit being separated by distance, since my sister lives in Southern Europe, my parents in Denmark and I often go to Africa for work.

What does your family mean to you?Everything!

What does friendship mean to you?It has a big meaning and albeit I might not have many really close friends, the ones that are close will never disappear, and I’ll always be there for them.

What kind of friend are you?I am the type of friend that always invites over and tend to connect people.

How would your friends and family describe you?As someone that has a lot of projects going at the same time, slightly disorganised and often late for appointments, but when I arrive people tend to be very happy about it!

How do you prefer to travel and why?I prefer to travel alone because it means that you are more exposed to your environment and automatically meet new people each day. You thus quickly meet people to travel with and connect on another level. Some of my biggest experiences have thus been travelling alone, often hitchhiking and sleeping where a bed was on offer, which is partly high I came to speak so many languages.
