The Ethan School board met in regular ses- sion at the Ethan School in Ethan SD, on Monday, August 12, 2019. Presi- dent A. Storm called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. with the following members present: M. Klumb, J. Clendening, P. Vogel, S. Jerke, Supt. T. Eckstaine, Bus. Mgr., J. Havlik and B. Aisenbrey. Visitor in attendance was Janet Gustafson. The meeting began with Storm leading all with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Bids will be received by the school until 2:00 p.m. CT Monday, September 9, 2019, at the office of the business manager at the new White Lake School, 410 E. 4th St., PO Box 246, White Lake, South Dakota, 57383. Bids will be opened, read aloud and tabulated at the regular school board meeting that evening to be held at 8:00 p.m. CT at the new White Lake School study hall room. Bids will be FIRM BIDS and clearly marked School Demolition.
LEGALSEach bid requires a bid
bond, which may be in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or bank draft. The bid bond is to be issued by a sure- ty authorized to do busi- ness in this state and must be in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid with the check made payable to the school district. In lieu of a bid check the bidder may submit a surety bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The surety is to be payable to the school district as a guar- antee that such bidder will enter into a contract with the school district.
The Board reserves the right to reject any part of or all bids and waive any informalities or irregularities therein when in the best inter- est of the school dis- trict.
CONTRACTORS LIABILITY INSURANCE: All bidders are to provide to the school board documen- tation of their limits of liability insurance.
