The FIITJEE Journey

FIITJEE was created in 1992 by the vision and toil of Mr. D. K. Goel, a Mechanical Engineering Graduate from IIT Delhi.

We had a very humble beginning as a forum for IIT-JEE, with a vision to provide an ideal launch pad for serious JEE

aspirants. Along the way to realization of this vision, we went beyond merely coaching for IIT-JEE. We actually started

to make a difference in the way Students think and approach problems. We started to develop ways to enhance

changing lives. And all this was not a sheer coincidence. It was the urge, the compelling desire, to always aspire for

perfection and in the process, continuously keep on setting newer benchmarks of excellence, which enabled us and

Since its inception in 1992, FIITJEE has always supported meritorious and deserving students to succeed in their career goals. Students

joining FIITJEE’s training programs have excelled not only in JEE Advanced but also in JEE Main & other Engineering Entrance Examinations

/ SAT / Olympiads / NTSE & KVPY. FIITJEE’s emphasis on making the students imbibe the fundamental concepts of Science & Maths

his / her best performance in all vistas of academic pursuits and career thereafter.

Taking the initiative of helping the economically underprivileged to a larger level, in the year 2008, FIITJEE constituted

FoRTUNATE 40 – A program to provide world-class training to serious students from financially weaker backgrounds to achieve their

goal of success & Top Ranks in IIT-JEE and Other Competitive Exams.

The program will financially support capable students soon going to class IX & class XI and whose total parental income is less than

Rs. 10,000/- per month. FIITJEE will support these meritorious students in their preparation for achieving their dream goal, by awarding

100% scholarships for FIITJEE program & 100% waivers on hostel charges. For Integrated School Program, the school fee will be charged

from the student (at some locations scholarship on school fee may also be awarded). The FoRTUNATE 40 batch for each program, at

each location, will have a maximum of 40 students only.

Students will have to appear for a selection test on Sunday 8th February, 2015. There is no registration fee for the selection test.

Selected students will be notified and admitted to the program with 100% scholarships.

The final discretion of award of scholarship in each case will remain with FIITJEE and this decision will be final and binding

on the candidate.

IITs have restricted the number of attempts for JEE Advanced. Students just have two chances – one just after the XII board

exams and the second immediately in the next year. They should try to succeed in IIT-JEE in the first attempt itself and not take

unnecessary pressure as uncertainty of ill-health or any accidents while appearing for the second & last attempt could be too

risky. Till the eighties, it was alright if you started your preparation just after XI and at the beginning of XII, but even then to

get Top Ranks you had to begin your preparation at the commencement of XI itself. In late nineties it became a norm to start

preparation at the beginning of Class XI and devote at least two years to train rigorously for IIT-JEE.

Now, with the increase in competition and keeping in mind that only two chances are available, only the very talented Students

can succeed by starting their IIT-JEE training in Class XI. But, if you do not have an inborn spark that can put you amongst Top

performing Students in JEE you have no other choice but to start as early as Class IX to achieve the desired success in IIT-JEE.

Assistant Commissioner & Above Rank. In case you are not able to get desired co-operation from these officials you may then approach

1. Fee Waivers for FIITJEE Programs and Hostel Fee Waivers will be decided on the basis of combined performance in both

Paper 1 & Paper 2. Performance in Paper 2 will be considered only for those students who qualify (i.e. clear minimum

cut-off marks) in the Paper 1. Students must appear in both the Papers i.e. Paper 1 & Paper 2 to become eligible for any

Program Fee Waivers / Hostel Fee waivers.

2. The final discretion of award of fee waivers for FIITJEE programs & hostel fee waivers in each case will remain with FIITJEE

management and this decision will be final and binding on the candidate.

3. Fee waivers for FIITJEE programs & Hostel Fee Waivers are valid for the select mentioned programs only. Students enrolling

with benefits (Scholarship for FIITJEE Program / Hostel Fee Waiver) associated with Fortunate 40 selection test, cannot

join any other institute in any form. In case the student joins another institute, all the benefits given will be withdrawn

and FIITJEE can also take action against such student.

4. Hostel fee waivers are valid only for FIITJEE’s associate hostels / lodging and boarding facilities made available through FIITJEE,

subject to the student joining that particular hostel and availability of seats. The hostel fee waivers are valid till the

duration of the FIITJEE program.

5. FIITJEE reserves the right to change / cancel any program, eligibility criterion without prior notice.

6 (a). The registered office of FIITJEE Limited is at New Delhi. All disputes and differences of any nature with regard to the

Fortunate 40, subsequent enrollment and studies shall be referred to the Sole Arbitrator appointed by the Management

of FIITJEE Ltd. The Arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Arbitration and

Conciliation Act 1996 and Statutory modification thereof and rules made there under. The award of the arbitrator shall

be final & binding. The arbitrator so appointed shall not be incapacitated for reasons of their being the employee of

FIITJEE Ltd. or its sister concern, and for reasons of having any prior linkage with the company. The seat of arbitration

will be Delhi. All the parties - student / parents / guardian & FIITJEE agree that they shall not commence or maintain any

action in a court of law relating to Fortunate 40, subsequent enrollment & studies at FIITJEE except for enforcement of

the arbitral award. All parties waive any right to appeal. This is needed for speedy redressal of issues & all parties agree

to this.

(b). Subject to 6 (a) herein above, the exclusive Jurisdiction in the matter shall vest in Delhi / New Delhi Courts only.
